MULLEIN

Mullein is widely used for cough and cold symptoms. It softens mucus trapped in the airways allowing it to find its way out. Mullein can also assist in opening up the airways and fight against inflammation to make breathing easier. It has also been shown in studies to improve lung capacity in people who have stopped smoking.

Traditional uses include;

• cough, tuberculosis, pneumonia, common cold
• Fever
• allergies
• tonsillitis

Mullein Leaf
Alcohol (triple distilled vodka)

SUGGESTED DOSE;      
If you’re just starting out with herbs, and particularly tinctures, start off with the 6-12 drops for a few days, then increase.

Adults: 1 - 3 full droppers, once or twice a day.

Children: 1/2 - 1 dropper depending on age. Mix in juice or water.

If cough or congestion is present increase dose up to 2 hourly as required until symptoms subside.

It is important to remember to take an intuitive approach when taking herbs, listen to how your body responds and adjust the dose accordingly.
